1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TamaleBot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TamaleBot is an AI agent hosting platform that allows users to deploy, configure, and manage AI-powered agents on cloud infrastructure. The open-source runtime is licensed under Apache 2.0. The managed cloud service ("TamaleBot Cloud") is subject to these terms.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, API tokens, and session tokens.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Distribute malware, spam, or engage in phishing
- Perform unauthorized security testing or attacks against third parties
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or abuse prevention mechanisms
- Resell access to the Service without authorization
5. API Keys and LLM Providers
TamaleBot operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You are solely responsible for:
- Your LLM API keys and any charges incurred from their use
- Compliance with the terms of service of your chosen LLM provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.)
- Monitoring your API usage and costs
6. Data and Privacy
Your agent data, conversation logs, and configuration are stored in isolated containers and encrypted storage. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and handling.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
- The TamaleBot open-source runtime is licensed under Apache 2.0.
- The managed cloud platform (dashboard, orchestration, billing) is proprietary.
- You retain all rights to the content you create using the Service.
- You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAMALEBOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time. For details on refunds, billing credits, and cancellation terms, see our Refund Policy.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your agent data will be deleted within 30 days.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
